Director's Office
The Director of Education manages all activities of the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board with the help of other members of the school board administration as well as administrations at individual schools. The Director is guided by Thunder Bay Catholic’s Mission and Vision as well as the goals set out by its Board of Trustees. Ultimately, the Director and the other members of administration serve Thunder Bay Catholic to help ensure our students receive outstanding educational opportunities within our Christ-centred environment.

The Finance department at the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board is responsible for managing the annual budget, purchasing, and business and corporate services. Finance also works closely with individual schools to maximize budgets and resources, guided by our goals as well as our Mission and Vision.

Not only are they responsible for the maintenance, security and privacy of our systems, they also support new pilot initiatives and operate the I.T. Help Desk.

The TBCDSB plant department's priority is to ensure quality facilities to support achievement. The Plant Department is responsible for construction, facilities and maintenance services for the Board. Through effective communication, planning and use of resources, the department ensures a clean, safe and healthy learning environment for our students, staff and communities.

All transportation (school bus service) is provided by the Student Transportation Services of Thunder Bay (STSTB) is a collaborative venture of the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board, Lakehead Public Schools, and Conseil scolaire de district catholique Aurores boreales. It was formed in 2008 to reduce transportation costs for all school boards while maintaining safe, dependable service.
